Puff baby quilt - finished!
And how cute is it! The sewing together of the puffs into rows and then columns proved to be challenging and time consuming but the finished effect is totally worth it!
Here is is prior to backing so you can get the full effect of the pattern. The day/night garden theme hasn't come across as well in the finished quilt as I would have liked but I think it has a rustic charm.
Without the backing the back almost looks like a cute rag quilt with just the smallest bits of colours sneaking through. However not so soft to cuddle against so after much deliberation I choose to back it with the same purple hibiscus cloth that features on the front of the quilt.
Should be lovely, warm and snugly for bubs. Not sure I would go to the trouble of making another one, although the little big boy has requested one for his bed, but my goodness thats a lot of puff!
